My Reviews.. 

Went there during tea time, a day after the opening. Simple and spacious design, comfortable for both meetings, gatherings or even catch-ups. Love the wall decorations made of coffee sacks!




Had my favorite Piccolo Latte that came with a beautifully crafted Rosetta. 8/10!

Had my first ever Espres-Soda. Basically is a combination of espresso + fuzzy soda (non-sugar). In a way, Americano with Carbon Dioxide!

A friendly staff here recommended the Sneaky Waffles. Gave it a try. Vanilla ice-cream, caramel & chocolate syrup, slices of Sneakers and nuts. Nice combination & presentation, but the waffle texture is a slight drawback. A little too soft and doughy.


Nasi Lemak with Wagyu beef rendang and Tempei salad is a awesome! 8/10 I'd say.

Haven't try out the variety of cakes & pastries. Looks interesting, though!

p.s. They have Vanilla, Green Tea and even Mango Crepe cakes!



Their pie is a HOT-seller!

My Reviews.. 

One of the best waffles in town. Although they call'em "Belgium Waffles", they're not exactly the authentic Belgium Waffles. Still, grabbing a 7.5/10 rating from a waffle lover is definitely worth a try!


Their salad portion is really huge, with pumpkins, colorful bell peppers, the usual veggies, nuts and eggs!


 Pumpkin Cheesecake!!! Not sure about you guys, but it was the first time I heard of such bizarre combination. And of course, my curiosity wouldn't let me get away without trying it! 7/10 it is!



Last but not least, the coffee, of course. Had their Piccolo Latte. The presentation itself earned a big thumbs up from me, and it even comes with a cute little cookie. Bonus! Well, as expected, the coffee tastes awesome too! Definitely a 8/10.

Nice environment near the lakeside park, with cool breeze in the evening. Both their coffee and tea were good. Although I personally prefer the coffee.

My Reviews.. 

The most worth-the-money pasta in town, from RM5! Expected a smaller-than-usual portion for the RM5 pasta series, but instead the portion is really reasonable. (Although the meat portion is rather small) Well, couldn't ask for Macadamia nuts when you are only paying Peanuts!

We tried the Mushroom Carbonara & Lamb Marinara Pasta. Both were delicious! (7/10)






Also, had the White Clams Soup with Bread. Not bad at all. Rating 7/10.


Finally, the most looked-forward Signature Coffee Latte, that comes with a teaspoon full of purple-colored-lavender sugar. The sugar had a  slight lavender scent, adding a different twist in flavor to the usual coffee latte. Awarding this special, lovely, authentic drink a 8/10!

They have awesome coffee and tea series! Coffee is good (7/10). Their Red Tea, with some fruity blend is really great (9/10)!


Friendly waiters with great attitude and service. Thumbs up for that!


Nasi Lemak looks yummy!

My Reviews.. 

Aside from the awesome factory-like environment here, "When TEA Meets Coffee" is by far one of THE most UNFORGETTABLE "cake/kuih" I have ever tasted! Initially it sounded way too weird and unappealing. However after checking out the countless good comments posted about this cool dessert, I decided to give it a try. The friendly waiter served us the cake/kuih with a cuppa espresso. He explained that it's actually their specially-made caramel espresso, and the way to enjoy this dessert is: First, taste the Jasmine-tea-flavored-cake. Then pour the espresso over the cake. Enjoy the rest of it.


Have I mentioned that the taste is.. just.. so.. yummy! Perhaps it's because I personally love Jasmine tea. But when sweet Miss J meets charming Mister E, the chemistry is just right! It is a solid 9/10 from me!

The tiny-square-shaped-very-heavy-cheesecake (Could not relate "heavy" to this cheesecake, though) is awesome too, but the only drawback is that it's too pricey. 8/10 for the taste.

Not forgetting the coffee here is relatively good. Wouldn't say that I know a lot about  coffee or even how to differentiate good or bad coffee, but I enjoy that cup of Flat White I had.

Another unique experience here at this BEAM Specialty Bean and Roastery cafe is the occasional burnt (hangus) smell that filled up the whole place, even to the second floor. Find that quite annoying.

Mizuiro Ramen + Coffee

My Reviews.. 

Was recommended the Tonkatsu Ramen. Unlike the ramen we usually get in other places, their ramen was inspired by the bread from a local bakery, slightly light brown colored. I like the wheat taste of the ramen, the soup was good especially with the seaweed and lots of spring onions. Giving it a 8/10!


Also had the AROHA Sparkling Elderflower drink, from New Zealand, served chilled. Like the sweet flowery aroma.


Last but not least, their hand drip Maruyama Coffee from Tokyo. Not the usual concentrated, rich coffee I had in other cafes. Not quite my preferred type of coffee.

My Reviews.. 

Their name reads "A Coffee Company". But I was a little disappointed with my flat white. First off, the supposedly white "heart" on my drink was not "drawn" properly. The taste was not too great too. (Too disappointed to even let my camera get a glimpse of it)

But my brother's Latte came out quite nicely done.


Had their TMA Signature Sammie (basically a few pieces of bread & their version of bagel, came with some cream cheese, butter & jam). Just to clarify, I love bagels. I love bagels with hard crusts too. Many commented that their bagels are hard, but for me, it's a 7/10!




The Smokin' Salmon & Egg Mayo was quite good too, although the smoked salmon tasted more like normal raw salmon. In fact, we liked the fishy taste of the salmon. 6/10

If you are getting The American Dream, do try the Lamb Sausage! All of us loved it. Rating: 7/10 (Personally, I liked the mushrooms most!)

TMA Special Salad wasn't too special. 5/10

Oh, and lastly, their Cheesy Does It Cheesecake! Just nice! Especially that rich layer of chocolate and the slight salted biscuit layer: 9/10!

Would consider hanging out here again.

My Reviews.. 

This is definitely a bread & pastries heaven. Not so a place for coffee lovers. Had their Flat White, which turned out not so flat after all! 
Flat (or Tall) White. Taste: 2/10


Their bread never disappoints me. Especially love their cheese-y items! 

This Cheese Waffle (RM5.00) is so yummy! Rating: 8/10

Really love this Cheese & Blueberry tart (RM18)! Rating: 9/10

[Left] Filled with cream cheese. My favourite! Rating: 9/10

Had the Seafood Aglio Olio (RM14.90) too. For that price, in KL, it's quite worth it. Although towards the end it's abit too oily. I'd say.. 7/10

My Reviews..

Tried their Pulled Pork Sandwiches after reading quite a few of positive reviews. Quite filling for a sandwich! Taste wise, 7/10 for me. 


Their Affogato was awesome too! (Although not exactly qualified to comment since this is my first time ever trying an Affogato.. hehe) 


The Brownies with "homemade dulce de leche ice-cream" is a must-try! Awarding this dessert a 8/10.

Overall satisfaction: 7.5/10
